Leadership Henderson County was started in 1996 as a part of the Governor’s Three Star Community Award Initiative. Today, it has proven to be one of the best programs ever implemented by the Chamber of Commerce. Participation from the community has been overwhelming and the classes have significantly changed the future of our county.

The program's purpose is to develop a diverse group of informed, committed and qualified individuals who will provide a leadership source for Henderson County organizations, both public and private. The program is tried and true with a broad base of successful experiences in cities and towns all over the U.S.
